Shaws Booksellers

Commissioned to design a series of advertising materials for Shaw’s Booksellers, a pub that retained its bookshop identity after its transformation for the 1997 film Wings of the Dove, I developed a visual language rooted in British literary heritage. With the name enduring long after filming, the identity celebrates storytelling and authorship, centred around four portrait illustrations of iconic British writers, Roald Dahl, Daphne du Maurier, Agatha Christie and Philip Pullman, forming a cohesive set of promotional materials inspired by a lasting appreciation for British literary tradition.
